- All vouchers must be presented at the ticket office and exchanged for boarding passes at least 60 minutes before sailing.
- The ferry departs Auckland every 60 minutes between 9:00am and 4:00pm daily, with sailings as frequent as every 30 minutes at peak times.
- The Western Explorer Hop-On Hop-Off Bus departs Matiatia from 10:00am, connecting with the 9:00am ferry from Auckland. Bookings are essential for the bus tour.
